TECHNICAL DATA OF A LARGE OUTDOOR VIDEO WALL & DISPLAYS
Full color LED video displays are manufactured in our advanced production facility in Shenzhen, China, using carefully selected CE and UL certified components. High quality LED chips are sourced from top-bin selections to ensure maximum uniformity, wide viewing angles, and high brightness levels. LED chips are supplied by Epistar (Taiwan) and encapsulated by Nationstar or Kinglight (China), based on project requirements and client preferences.
Outdoor LED video displays are capable of reproducing all types of digital content directly from a computer source, including text, graphics, animations, flicker-free video, live video feeds, television signals, cable sources, time and date displays, and real-time data. Since an LED screen functions as an external display, any content visible on a computer monitor can be shown on the LED video display. For professional applications, video processors are commonly used to manage multiple input sources, split screens, and multi-window layouts.
Both DIP (direct in-line package) and SMD (surface mount device) LED pixel technologies are available, producing high color accuracy, vivid imagery, and excellent contrast performance. Outdoor LED screens are supplied in modular form, either as individual LED modules or pre-assembled cabinets, with various pixel pitch configurations depending on viewing distance and application requirements.
LED modules are assembled on site within a steel structure or enclosure manufactured locally by the client, following our technical specifications. Once installed within the frame, the assembled modules form a large-format outdoor LED video display suitable for advertising, information display, broadcasting, and live event applications.

• Modules sizes are variable, and can be modified according to desired screen size. Standard models for fixed installations use iron or aluminum cabinets, while RENTAL TYPE use slim or die-casting aluminum (in smaller sizes).
They can be back or front service,according to client’s requirements.
• Minimum viewing distance means the distance from where a screen looks DOT-FREE
• * Image quality depends on screen size and minimum resolution.
• **1/3 of max. power is normally used during operation. An electronic dimmer adjusts brightness automatically.

SUPPORTING STRUCTURE / FRAME: ( NOT INCLUDED ) Steel frame, built locally according to our specifications. Usual dimensions: 100-20cm depth & 10- 20cm width. Air-conditioning unit(s) could be necessary in some climates, because ideal operating temperatures are between -10 to +35 °C.
CONTROLLER (or board’s brain): The board works in conjunction with a special CONTROLLER unit (or “brain”), including a computer (supplied) and installed inside the enclosure or in a nearby control room. It also works with a video processor. Only 1 unit is needed per screen, whatever its size.
COMMUNICATION: Direct, by data cable, from the controller unit to the board, via network using Cat5 or fiber optic cables depending on distance from control room to the board, or via modem & high speed Internet from a remote office (cable or wireless).
BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT: Manually by software or automatically by electronic dimmer with light sensor.
SPARE PARTS: A FULL set of spare parts including LED modules, driver boards, LED lamps, power supplies and an extra control cards set are delivered free of charge with your order.
WARRANTY: UP to 5 YEARS on circuits & LEDs depending on LED components chosen. Any damaged part will be promptly replaced free of charge with 24/7 worldwide technical support by e-mail & phone, and on-site support if necessary

PIXEL CONFIGURATION FOR VIDEO DISPLAYS
We manufacture 2 types of pixels: “DIP” (Outdoor only) and “SMD” (Indoor and Outdoor).
DIP PIXELS
Stands for Direct In-line Package where all 3 colors LEDs (R,G,B) are close to one another and constitute ONE pixel.
The PITCH -or distance between 2 pixels- is measured between 2 LED lamps of the same color.
The advantage of this type of pixels is that it has a higher brightness than SMD (up to 30% more) but a lower vertical viewing angle only (60° instead of 160)
SMD 3 IN 1 PIXELS
Stands for Surface Mount Device, where the 3 LED colors (R,G,B) are inserted into one dot between 1 and 3mm square. Available in outdoor pitch 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 16. The advantage of this type of pixels is that it has wider viewing angle than DIP (160°H/V), but not as bright (30% less)
